I’m rereading as a way to challenge my views on sexual situations. It’s actually an interesting mental exercise consciously trying to view the same scene in a different way. Obviously there are lots of triggering moments and I come with an adamant stance on consent but I’m trying to mature in that regard

I’m building a theory… the first book didn’t do much for me. It was nice and I was able to get to the end but not much more than that. But THIS BOOK!!?!! So yummy. I’m licking my fingers.
And I don’t think it’s even about personal taste. I think that some authors need to understand the world they built a little more. That the first book doesn’t indicate if I’m going to love the following books

I’ve stopped reading too many books before the halfway mark and I’m trying to push through. But so far it’s ridiculous cliche and fucking annoying to read. Why is this so popular?

Why are her other books so much better than this series???? The writing is so cringey 😬 I’m only continuing because I read all the Morgan and reed series

Random things keep being added to the plot… hope the book pulls itself together

Currently taking a break because I’m sick of dating but this book is incredibly insightful and accurate to what it means to date today. Love Nick Viall. Love his podcast. Great writing

I don’t normally read essay books… but I’m so touched by each chapter/essay I have read so far I’m making myself read no more than one essay at a time to let the material sink in… very unlike me. I get Jenny Slate. I get what she’s writing. Loving this so far

The towel scene makes absolutely no sense

Why is there a toilet in this fairy realm?? A toilet that flushes?!?!

All the flip flopping between time lines is annoying me

I don’t know whether to keep going or not… the dynamic between everyone is funny. There are some really good lines and comebacks. But the Sex scenes make me cringe… haven’t had this combination yet in a story

I like it so far but I’m having a hard time keeping up a consistent image in my head as to who these characters are because it’s like they keep changing personalities depending on what’s needed for the scene…

I don't know whether to continue or not... I don't feel like continuing even though I got to half of the book and did enjoy some parts.
