This is still a wacky book, but man does it nail being a parent of young kids in such a hilarious and unexpected way.

Yeah I don't know about this book... Has some great insights surrounded by... muck? Or maybe I am just too far from the target audience. I imagine almost everyone is though... And those whom are target probably wouldn't pick it up in the first place...

I think this may be the right book at the right time for my business. Trying to finish before Friday.

Still a heartbreaker. Still a nice jot of levity for my day. Currently going one day at a time through this book and rather enjoying it.

Oh, oh, this is good.

Holy cow, this book. I don't know how I'm going to get through it. It pierces through your soul, grabs deep down into you and lays bare a far sadder reality than at least I ever pictured for myself. Is this the loneliness of old age? It must be! It feels so true. So raw, so real. I can't tell where the rest of this is going, but man does old age seem terrifying. Gah. Onward into this beautiful book.

It feels a little silly to mark this one down, but my kids gave up on it and I decided to read it on my own. It's not as cool as the dino one, but I am enjoying it enough to keep going. Cool science experiments are referenced in it too.

Every time I think this guy is going to say the same pat advice I've read a million times, I start skimming. And every time I do that, he surprises me with some new piece of info or perspective.

Ugh. This book is so bad. I just had to call it and stop trying to sift through all the junk in the hopes of finding hidden treasure. I will say, I enjoyed the inspirational quotes from the author dimly disguised as by "KL," right next to other quotes from someone else with the same last name. Lol.

.. not totally sure why I'm reading this one, but here I am. (is it because it's easy reading?) I can picture tik Tok running with some of these, if it hasn't already.

I was really hoping the evidence would be stronger in this book. And that his language wouldn't be so condescending. I'm in the part about quantitative easing increasing inflation though and finding that interesting. Certainly open to more books on this (government spending, inflation, taxes) topic after this one!

I don't remember how this book got on my list, which reading I did that recommended it, but here I am.

This book is requiring a lot of critical thinking. I feel like I'm watching a Michael Moore movie with some of his supporting evidence. We'll see where this lands.

Meh.... After page 42, it certainly took a downward turn. Struggling to get through, figured I'd just pause instead.

This book is so good. I had hoped it would be too full of ire, too inflammatory, to take seriously.

It's not. It's poetic. It's meaningful. It's giving word to my thoughts on time and work and social media.

"I have my time, and you have yours, and we sell it on the marketplace. Now it’s not just the employer who sees you as twenty-four hours of personified labor time; it’s you, too, when you look in the mirror."

Painful start. The intro was good, hopeful and poetic, but the start of the actual text is pain. Making me think too much about work and oppression. Will soldier on though, as it seems worth it.
