I'm so gonna regret starting this before the second book is out.
I don't think it's gonna beat One Dark Window and Two Twisted Crown but it's sure as hell interesting af.

Bruh this is sooo slow paced :/ I've read 200 pages and stuff are Just starting to happen:/
(My copy is about 470 pages tho)

Adult ife sucks. I wanna curl up in a corner and binge read this but I have to work and still be broke. Ugh.

Well, there are some generic cliche stuff, and it kinda feels like it's trying way too hard to be scary. But that was expected, cause I simply bought the book cause the cover looked cool. So I might be about to be taught a harsh lesson on not judging books by covers and stuff.

Why is it 2:35 am already, when I still have about 170 pages left? I need to know damn it.

Well if I had read this series right when I bought it, it would've been matching what everyone was going through with covid's delta phase going crazy.
I, however, did not do that. And now that I finally decided to read them, I'm getting painful flashbacks of those horrible terrifying days.

Interesting start. I really hope it doesn't end up disappointing me as it goes on.

Up until now, my entire idea of Sherlock was based on the BBC version and Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock.
And now I'm like, What do you mean he wasn't a sarcastic, mean asshole? Why is he so nice and jolly? This doesnt feel right. T_T

I knew I hated Caravl, but I didn't know it had traumatised me to the point of ptsd at the mention of the concept of a magical deck of cards. F*uck you Bella.

I read about 200 pages in one day and as far as I can remember that never happened with a book I was reading in English. But it was just back to back cliffhangers and twists and I HAD to know.
