i’ve been slacking these past couple weeks but i have two books to complete this years challenge🫡 time to get to work

finally picked this up tonight after being approved on netgalley and i’m honestly not sure how i’m feeling abt it so far, some moments it has me intrigued but for the most part i have to keep rereading sections over and over to even grasp what’s going on😭

this is sooo validating to read, im eating this up. chefs kiss

and for those are you still hyping up SJM & reading the acotar series… please stop like i’m literally begging you to educate yourselves instead of reading a stupid little series😭 the amount of time y’all spend reading could be spent on so much research as to why it’s wrong

and to everyone saying “i bet you guys all read other controversial books and authors” you are quite literally missing the point. that’s basically saying it doesn’t really matter, go ahead and support any author regardless of what views they might have (racist, transphobic, zionist, etc) and NO!! it fucking matters what you read and who you support

some of y’all are so weird, if you’re really playing the victim on here right now because people called you out for supporting a zionist then you really need to reflect and maybe just hop off the internet. we are all adults on a social media platform that we know is very public. if you’re going to support someone publicly, be expected to be called out publicly. grow up and stop playing victim

my kindle came in this morning🥰 ready to enter my kindle girlie era

i think i’m in the last stretch now🫡 onward forth, this is such a plot heavy book and i’ve been needing one lately

the gasp i just gusped🫢 definitely gonna try finishing this today or tomorrow

deleting books off my tbr after seeing a post about authors in support of israel😔 as a reader it’s beyond disappointing to see how many authors share that stance

i knew things were pricing together too soon🫢 this book is keeping me on my TOES and i love it

everything came full circle and connected, also the way this book highlights SO MANY real world problems and the way the world could be is scary at times

just got approved for my second netgalley read😭😭 life is so good rn
