Just finished reading In the Penal Colony, a story about a torture device. It was quite interesting - there were detailed descriptions of how this torture/execution machine worked interspersed into a story of the death of an old regime.

Finished my reread of Heart of Darkness. I've not read The Secret Sharer yet.

I finished the first novella. I had a bit of a hard time following it to be honest. I started the second novella last night and i have no idea what's going on so I'm going to shelve it for a moment until maybe my brain is ready for more attentive reading.

Unfortunately, I have not been enjoying this.
