Not me reading this before bed then looking up and seeing that it was 1 AM!!! It got really good.

My bedside book. Enjoying so far. Eleanor's racist comments towards park's appearance are unsettling. Considering they are living in Omaha in the 80s, I can see it being realistic for the time period and location, but it's inexcusable. The author doesn't write BIPOC folks well. They feel stereotypical and clunky.

Like the attachment style convo. So far this is kind of a psychology 101 and reasons why friends are important. Good beginner stuff. Like I feel like I could give this to my mom and she would get it.

I feel like I've been 75% of the way through for forever...and now that I log it, I see I'm only 71% through. My reading buddy is also barely 50% through this after months.
