I’m slightly irked by the notion that after spending two whole pages dedicated to an argument between Dirk and Nastaran about him leaving her to take her sons to their uncles, Dirk is still blamed for Nastaran’s death, using Dirk’s absence (which she insisted upon and reassured him that a handmaid would be there with her) as the ammunition.
