Very rare DNF for me. I found it extremely depressing and starting having nightmares when reading this before bed. I did not realize the lengths of drug addiction that would occur throughout the more than half of the book I completed. I kept trudging through, but when the animal abuse started to occur, I had enough. Additionally I felt the writing was a bit over the top.
