Why couldn't the section on "Hejira" go on forever?

DNF - trying to re-start with a clean slate here, so maybe I'll come back to this in the future.

I liked this at first and then it started feeling weird and gross so I DNF, sorry not sorry etc.

Slow-going because I barely have time to breathe let alone read lately, but this book is a hot mess (in a good way, I think... so far!)

God, this book is going to age horribly. Imagining someone reading this in, like, 2060 is throwing me!

DNF - I tried to get down with the quirkiness (and I appreciate there are certain themes to be introduced later in the book to explain this) but it reeked of trying too hard and has been on the go for months, soooo... I'm calling it a day.

This is quirky and cute but is it *too* quirky and cute to the point of being try hard? Time will tell…
