Who has heard of the concept of being half in and half out of slavery? Bell definitely does a great job of presenting his argument.

Bell’s writing definitely draws you in. It still blows my mind that this is true and I never knew. 🤯

I had the pleasure of meeting Professor Bell at UMD. He made me want to go back to school!! 🎓📚 I cannot wait to get into this book.

This is my first time reading Steinbeck. I’m enjoying it so far. 🙂

Predictable language and story. But who doesn’t like a good V.C. Andrews tale?

I returned to my local library for the first time today!!💜💜💜💜📚📚📚There was no way I was walking out without some books.

Since I haven’t been reading, like in summers past, my daughter challenged me to read at least one library book within the next 2 weeks.

Challenge accepted.

As a Mom, this is some scary stuff.

I’m trying not to read too many reviews for this book. I mean it’s because of GR that it even got on my radar. There are definitely some mixed feelings out there. I can’t wait to judge it for myself.
