The extra POVs are growing on me as they're adding complexity to the story.

50% of this is annoying, immature masculinity and most likely because it's a book from the 90s.
50% of this is a potentially good story.
100% of this is me trying to wipe Tom Cruise's face from my memory (...the Jack Reacher movie).
Will I finish it?

Funny thing, book 4 introduces three new POVs and not one of them is Mustang. Still, she's my favourite character. 100% Team Mustang.

It's going to take me a while to get comfortable with the new POVs.

I'm rereading the first trilogy before diving into the rest of the series. I'm a little worried I won't love it as much the 2nd time around, but fml chapter 6 didn't ruin me any less.

...so many non-living beings having things to say in this book.

This book makes me very thoughtful. Some of it feels like being in school, like chapter 40 introducing Jevon's Paradox. But in a good way. It'll take me a long time to go through this book, though.
