It was only £0.99 so I bought it because of the beautiful cover. I shouldn’t have judged a book by its cover, really. The reviews are varied and it’s kind of making me feel a bit apprehensive to proceed. But, alas, since I’ve already bought it, might as well just get to reading now.

I cry. I cried. I cried. I cried. And I cried ‘til I thought I was as dry as the desert where Ari and Dante first kissed.

The tears were different each time. It was sadness that turned to sob. Then it was happy tears followed by heartbreak. Every sentence in this book resonates with me, they move and captivate me. This book is truly my brown noise in a physical form.

Oh my gawd, this is just like Bad Buddy The Series, but in different font and colour. The rugby, the pining, the rivalry between dads’ hardware stores, the sister. I don’t want to go that far to say it is a plagiarism, but the similarities are uncanny. Let me get into it more to be able to judge.

Everyone’s on drugs! 💀 I read a review on another platform and the writer said “no plot, just vibes”. I couldn’t agree more with that. I’ve been reading without knowing what’s the point of the book, but it’s good…or not. CONFUSION! Haha
