Why the FUCK is she still putting up with Cole?????

The main character just imagined the death of a stranger, convinced herself the death would be her fault, and imagined telling his loved ones at the funeral. I think me and this FMC are gonna get along.

I keep reading Celebrity romances with the goal of finding one that doesn't feel kinda icky or unsatisfying. The political angle of this one certainly intrigues me. I'd like a political FMC who doesn't compromise her beliefs for the romance.

The epitaphs? The flour-sacks-as-clothing Great Depression references? The acknowledgement of gay people? The fact that I think I've already met an important Katniss family member?

Don't know if I'm sold on the ML right now, but I'm excited to see how the ML's and FL's children come into the mix.

Sometimes you read a YA book and feel like you could be the main character. Sometimes you read a YA book and are reminded that they are a child and you are an adult.
