Really enjoying this!

Tynion has consistently been a favorite writer of mine but thus far Fear State hasn't been as compelling as I'd hope. Glad I waited for the collected trade rather then pull it monthly. Hope the finally pages of this saga turns it around for me but it's about a 3 star at this point.

I've been eagerly awaiting Batman Vs Robin and when I saw this Road To War Prelude volume I became very excited! I only just bought it today but am well past the half way point and absolutely love this collection! The art is insanely good and the build up to all out War with Batman is fantastic.

Must read Prelude for anyone who wants to read the Vs storyline.

1 issue in and I find this very compelling. While it's titled The Joker, this is actually a PI story lead by James Gordon. I'm a huge James Tynion fan so I expect I'm gonna enjoy reading this!

This may be my favorite Tom King books and I am a fan of his work.

Though notable so far this has avoided some kingisms that can not always play off well.

Occasional repetitiveness, over use of key words, sing songy writing, exessive use of overly poetic language...

While these qualities aren't innately bad King has in the past over used.

Rorschach may be his most novelistic work yet, and some beautiful language.

I've only just begun this book, but right off the hop I was caught off guard. I wasn't expecting a more novel esq type book opposed to a more traditional comic book. Heavy exposition, minimal drawings and no word bubbles. Not the type of "comicbook" I'd normally read. Having said that its well written and I enjoying it so far.

So far one of the better Future State collections!

Starting off strong, so far Dark Detective maybe my favorite Future State collection yet.

For whatever reason I'm not engaged in any of the last 6 volumes I've read.

Rebirth Wonder Woman Vol 1-3 and Wonder Woman Loveless Vol 1 and the other Volumes 2 to 4 (issues #750 to #758) have done very little for me.

I've got a pile of singles to go through once I finish this volume and if those don't get me going I'll stick to reading Wonder Woman's adventures in the fantastic Justice League Dark series.

I've collected so much of Wonder Woman.

Lately I've read The Just War, Love is a Battlefield, Loveless and this book the Four Horsewomen.

I also have sitting on my shelf Lords and Liars as well as a string of singles all the way up to the present monthly.

I'm stuck on Four Horsewomen and the 3 volumes before that... while drawn and written well did pretty much nothing for me...

I thought Volume 4 was entertaining, but Hollywood or Die Volume 5 is even better! Whoa what a fantastic job they've done with this slightly out of continuity but loosely connected Harleyverse! Highly recommend this volume and the last!

So far as usual King is unique in his odd character stories, but always entertaining. So far his creative stories are entertaining.

So far this is a real blast from the past and a lot of fun. Really hope this justs gets better and better!

Waited a long time for the Future State issues to be collected! Having fun so far!
