I think too, this book really covers what it means to be innately dominant and harsh but also submissive and vulnerable.

I think you see to people so utterly consumed by each other that they even have a hard time comprehending it- they actually hate how consumed their are with each other. Who knew that could be a thing 🫠

I feel like I’m going through whiplash repeatedly.

This book is a mind fuck, but I feel like that’s the point. Like the audience should be just as confused as the FMC.

And the plot is there but almost like a background slowly moving, while the characters dynamics and emotions are scrambling- literally. Idk how to feel other than confused but like I’m okay with that for now 😭

When Kiela and Larran were trying to have a conversation and kept talking over one another, then Caz was like stop let a plant teach you how to talk— this was gold! I loved it

Also, when Kiela mentions ‘When all this talking is over, I’m not going to speak for a week.’ -> why is this so relatable! Like I thought I was the only person this socially awkward 🙃

(Regarding the main characters) I just feel like it’s redundant that they are both wanting the other halves of themselves they don’t show to everyone. But if they gave each other the time of day they would be together already.

Idk how I feel about this.

At first I liked that they are both kinda have 2 sides to themselves and no one is what they appear to the world. They have a dark side.

But the writing itself is repetitive. And I’m almost halfway through this book and the relationship between the characters is vague and out of reach but if they just communicated a bit more it would be out there and they could move along!
