I love Will Trent, and I want to hate Angie Polanski, but my heart breaks for all that she's endured.

I have to put this down for a bit but will return to it.

Already scaring the bejesus outta me. Icelandic authors must know what they're doing.

I'm really struggling to like this book. I'm going to give Koontz 100 more pages to get me to care about these characters -- if not, I quit.

"Those girls are trifling. They're so insignificant, God can hardly see them." This line made me laugh out loud; I'm going to use this someday. I'm loving this novel so far. Why have I not read Rainbow Rowell before?!

I'm so enjoying this novel that I ordered 3 more of her books in the series. Why did it take me so long to discover Kate Atkinson?! I read Life After Life a few months ago and loved it, but I'm really enjoying her Jackson Brodie series.

This story is breaking my heart. I'm finding it both difficult to continue and difficult to put down.

I really enjoyed this one. Although not a wholly original idea, I liked how Joe Coughlin was a Prohibition gangster with morals. I was thoroughly entertained by Joe's hijinks and all his smart-ass retorts.

So far, I'm finding it difficult to get through because of the protagonist's obsession with money and appearances. It reads like a satirical commentary of our society but does it poorly. It has kept me interested enough to keep reading, so hopefully it offers a little more depth.

It takes a while to get into, but once you do it's great. There are a ton of characters to keep track of but they are all well-developed, extremely flawed but interesting. Very well written.

Loving it so far. I'm still in college majoring in English and I wish all of my professors behave the same as the characters in the novel!
