So far, it's absolutely terrible. I didn't hate Hooked, but this... this I might.

I'm not bored out of my skull yet but I'm slowly getting there. The whole book kind of feels like a filler episode of an anime show - you need some sort of conflict, but you also need all of the characters to survive for the next actually story-relevant episode.
