This book is a TOTAL contrast to the pacing of Robert Jordan. I am SO glad I took a break in WoT to read this.

Luke Spinardi is 55% done with Taking America Back for God: Christian Nationalism in the United States
This book is a must for those who wish to have more data surrounding the die hard Christian Conservatives of America (and those in your life that fall into that category)

To its detriment, It doesn’t convey much compassion but instead has a recognizable bias against its subject matter. As long as the reader is willing to dedicate time to come to their own conclusions on the collected data, this is a good read.

I’m 1/4 of the way through and I have that gut feeling I’m reading a 5/5 book.

Oh man. This is good. The prose is 5/5 for certain. My favorite implicit topics thus far are on the power of songs. Not to mention the excellent story within a story narrative style.

This book is like a habenero. Slow at the start but picks up over time. Can't wait to see where the story will take me.
