I am just sitting down to read this book I have waited all summer for, because, I finally get to say I know an author personally! Mandi owns our book store in Hazard, KY. While I know a little about her roots, recovery and redemption during the opioid crisis, I have always wanted to know more!!!! I know her truth and vulnerability will crack my heart open.

Gut wrenching, hopeful, honest 💔 This book is a must for anyone who knows an addict, is an addict or who wants to heal themselves through the stories of someone who has lived through it. This book is heavy and light, funny, poetic, profound, and just overall soul bearing.
A must read if you want to be a better human. 🤩
