I’m enjoying the historical facts that are included in story. The lives of the characters are affected by real events.

Lots of parallels to Downton Abbey characters

There’s a fair bit of historical background included into the storylines of the various characters. Lots of characters and lots of storylines. It really gives a good full view and perspective of the events surrounding the lives of people in that time.
