Fascinating, as expected. Narrator is not a good fit at all, unfortunately. The narrators’ Lorne impression (which is unnecessary imo) is pretty terrible. They should have got someone like Fallon or Daryl Hammond or Dana — a male voice that is adept at impersonations and characterization. Not sexism, just less distracting and silly.

Last book I read was a long, meandering, repetitious mess. Roupenian’s Cat Person is the antibody. Tight, socially brutal, surprising stories that seem inevitable in hindsight. A lot like life but with a little more poetry. Sad that I will be finished with this one soon with no other audiobooks of hers available! Publishers: Please fix!

Loving this! oral history in bite-sized chunks. Audiobook keeps it lively with about 10 different readers for cast, crew, other insiders. Great companion to the new SNL biopic. Yeah yeah it hasn’t been good since such and such year when you were in your prime, but you haven’t watched in years so you wouldn’t know isn’t that about right? lol
