I just couldn't get into this and cannot understand the hype or high ratings. Struggled through it as it was foe a book club.
Not a favorite.

Quite liked this book. A few parts could do with a bit of polishing, but overall a good read !

Where the Crawdads Sing. Very good story telling, a book I couldn't put down, despite absurdities in the plot. Cannot imaging a 5 or 7 year old living in the marsh and navigating its waters alone, no mention of any dangers or sicknesses. Yet the second part of the book grew believable as it drifted into the courtroom scenes...

A good book, well written and brings out the small town feel. It was very slow and maybe made slower still as I heard it and did not read it.

Somehow something was missing and I jsut couldn't get into this book....
