Lisa Carr is starting Good Morning, Destroyer of Men's Souls: A Memoir of Women, Addiction, and Love
Here it is. The first book I’ve been able to read and complete since the pandemic hit. Halfway through right now and although I haven’t been close to an addict, my life has been altered by codependency. Beautiful, heartbreaking, truth-telling memoir of love, family, motherhood, survival.

Lisa Carr is starting Meditation for Fidgety Skeptics: A 10% Happier How-To Book
I loved Harris’s book 10% Happier. Time for the “how to”. Lord knows, I need more control of the monkey mind moving forward into the holidays and 2020.

Oh, how I love Liz Plank. Truly, I’m most sad about leaving Instagram because I feel like I’ve left her. But for now... her book!

Lisa Carr is starting Fleishman Is in Trouble
Maybe I’ll come back to this. I love the author. But the character Fleishman is annoying me — it’s too early in the book to tell and I’ve heard amazing reviews!? For a girl that doesn’t read fiction much, I need fiction to compel not annoy and I don’t have the patience for him right now.

“I can’t wait to see what’s behind the next corner and all the corners after that.”- Alice

I heard the most incredible review of Go Ask Alice by YA author Nikki Darling on one of my favorite podcasts recently. How did/have I missed this book? It was published in 1967! Here’s to what I missed reading as a teen.
