Oh I forgot how much I loved this story! Odysseus has always been my favorite Greek hero and I’m so excited to revisit his adventures!

So far I’ve tried and failed to write the same book twice. Going to attempt a third go at it soon…but the world has gotten even bigger since the last time I did this🤣hoo-boy

Trying to figure out if it’s worth reading the Vampire diaries and Interview with a vampire series. I love supernatural/gothic fiction but a super picky about vampire stuff. I don’t like stories where they’re just mindless or power hungry threats for the human heroes - and I get super bored with romance novels.

I want to read vampire stuff but most of what I want to read I need to write myself😅

Adlakdkas I didn't expect things to turn the way they did, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised? It's very realistic and I appreciate that.

I am FLYING through this book and now I kinda wanna go back and reread the Jasper Dent series...

Note to future self: if you're going to read YA, stick with true crime XDD Of the two authors I've read from thus far, none of the characters annoy me or make me feel like a dinosaur.

I really wish it were easier with me to connect with books featuring mother+daughter relationships...ah well ^^; Still enjoying this ride overall.

If all authors wrote teenage characters like Kate McLaughlin does, I'd read more YA.

I really need to get back to writing. There are so many pieces of my world I want to explore...but I've been stuck at the tail end of this one project for months now. So frustrating! I just want to move on haha

Yeahhhh there are actually 300+ pages in this book. I wonder why the page count here stops at 296...

This book is longer than 296 pages...huh.

This book is frustrating...there are a lot of good ideas and a lot of the author's passion bleeding through. I just feel like it needed another edit or two before publishing.

AAAH! My copy of "Daughter" arrived! So excited to read it!
