Annie > Recent Status Updates

I’m an “escape” reader…not that I don’t like thought provoking novels, but when subject matter is too heavy and real, I tend to want to put it down b/c I get too upset, so this book just isn’t my thing but I’m glad I’m reading it. I think im going to be glad when it’s over. It’s so incredibly sad, especially because I don’t think the author is embellishing black history much, if at all.
