I only read up to page 40. Honestly, it just wasn’t engaging enough for me. The pace is very slow and although the first chapter was alright, going through 400 pages of slow-paced events and not very good writing would be too much of a sacrifice. And reading shouldn’t be a sacrifice - for that, we had high school.
