i was having fun and now i’m afraid

play creep by radiohead

no really everything is going well

took a minute to understand the two timelines/ fig tree situation but now i’m in it

not surprising that this book is incredibly smart but also TEAAAAAA

every couple of pages i stop, rub my forehead, say “oh my god? what?!?” but not in a fun way

let them live 😩

thank u carmen maria machado for your contribution

once a day i say “thank god for gretchen felker-martin”

im so lost why does the crow like to say rat a tat rat a tat so much

ultimate comfort in a dark time

middle section could be skipped honestly the first and last sections are much stronger

everything but the kitchen sink type of book

well structured and devastating
