So far I'm not vibing with this. It all feels a bit jumbled and incoherent, I keep finding myself rereading large chunks thinking I've missed something and coming up empty. This may end up as a DNF which is a shame as I was optimistic based on reviews and the blurb

Ugh, Kingfisher I absolutely hate you. I'm actively rooting for Saeris to end up with Carrion at this point, their chemistry is so much better.

Also what's up with the pacing? The build up between these two is completely erratic.

So far I'm not understanding the hype. I'm hanging on by a thread only because of the actual fantasy & horror elements

So far Kingfisher is not the one. He is so deeply unlikable. I get morally grey, but this isn't it. Debating not finishing because of how unlikable he is, but the fantasy element rather than the romance is keeping me locked in for now.

Carrion Swift is actually a more appealing choice for Saeris at this point.

Story 3 'Innocence Lost' has wrecked me. I'm gonna need a minute before I start number 4

2/24 stories completed. Really enjoyable so far, both very touching and poignant tales in just a few pages!

Really enjoyed day 1 of this project. The Patchwork Woman was a great short story, packing an emotional punch in just a few pages, great story telling!

Could do with less of Raihn's POV but so far a strong follow up

I fully intend to finish this at some point, but it's parked for now. The first two books were great but this feels a little repetitive and it's a real slog to get through, there seems to be much more plodding and filler in this book when compared to the first two.

Witches, magic and feminism... What's not to like? Juniper may be my new favourite female MC. I adore her zero F's given attitude, she's always ready to stick it to the man.

Thank god for a good glossary! The lore has gone off the chart, find myself constantly referring back.

Overall enjoyable so far but Wirr's chapters are really dragging down the pace and don't contribute much to the narrative. Getting a bit sick of ready about him making googly eyes at Dezia
