This book did me dirty and I'm not happy about it and now I don't even know if I want to finish it but I'm so close to the end that I will probably try and push through even though I'm over it.
UGH.

It's just as good as I remember. Which is always a good thing on a reread of an old fav.

I had almost given up on this book but I decided to give it one more try. Around 100 pages in, things really start taking off and getting to the things I really wanted to know about. Hopefully it will be a much faster read from here! 🤞

This book is dragging a bit, which is very surprising to me and I can't put my finger on why. The chapters are short and move quickly through different stages/events of her life, which I normally like, but something about it is boring me right now? Which is a bummer.

Not ready to give up yet though. Hopefully it gets better! 🤞

Switched to listening to the audiobook for a bit to make some progress and I had forgotten how much Jim Dale's voice adds to the story. Also, Lee Jordan might be one of the most underrated characters in the series.

This is taking me longer to get through than I expected because of the emotional toll it's taking on me. Some of these stories are so completely devastating they have made me cry. Between this and waiting on the verdict from the Delphi murder trial, I'm not sure how much more my heart and mind can take right now 🤣

One of my most anticipated books of the year and so far it was well worth the wait!

Been meaning to reread this series for awhile now and it's even better than I remember. The world building is 👌 and exploring a magical world is perfect for reading in the fall

After reading the chapter on "Hearing" I feel a bit vindicated to know I am not alone in my lack of interest in music and a general preference for silence. Everyone has given me crap for it, but it's nice to know I'm not alone 😉

I would have never thought I'd find a 39 hour audiobook on music theory interesting, but here we are 🤣

I am not a "music person" at all, but after reading the 'Hearing' chapter in Gretchen Rubin's book, "Life in 5 Senses" I'm trying to challenge myself by learning more about music and music theory and the power of sound (or lack thereof) in life and this book has already given me a lot to think about!
