I’m about 75 percent through. Do I like it? I don’t know. Junod takes the high road with his father, but blips over his own behavior.

I’m bored and fascinated.

As always, I don’t know where she’s going or if I understand the route, but the scenery is remarkable.

Thus far, not impressed with the dialogue. It doesn’t feel like 1993 american. It feels like English writer trying to write as an American.

Mediocre thriller that was made worse by a terrible narrator.
Unbelievable moments in what could have been a great caper because several plot twists were fantastic.

I finally had a moment where the protagonist was appealing. I want to finish just to see if I’m correct about whodunnit.

Sloppy writing. Great premise — person is attacked and given a week to live. She wants to solve her own murder. But she’s unlikeable and the plot and scenes are unbelievable. Finishing under duress.

Note: Listening. Annoying narrator — the male characters sound like cartoonish buffoons.
