Way to hot to read these last days where it got close to 40 degrees Celsius, today it is a nice 30 degrees Celsius and you can sit in the garden again. The dog is enjoying the weather much more now.

While I enjoyed the adventures of the various 00's this book has way too much 007 in it compared to the previous two books.

I have read quite a few other novels while reading this 007 novel, its weakness is that the trilogy requires a reread of the two previous installments, whereas the Thunderball, Ohmss and YOLT by Fleming is one tale but in three separate novels. This book does not have any of that.

Reading the novel while playing the Hans Zimmer soundtrack in the background easily the best soundtrack from the Daniel Craig era. Perhaps due to the influence of OHMSS soundtrack .

Not a Michael Crichton novel but a John Lange novel , which was Michael Crichton writing during his medical studies, and then it is an unpublished John Lange novel too.

After reading the latest Charlie Parker, the latest Sheriff Longmire I now start the latest 00 book starring Bond, James Bond.
As I would call it a perfect reading weekend in the Ardennen with 28 celcius, clear blue skies and an abundance of Sun. With pauzes in reading walking Abram our Dogue de Bordeaux who just loves the Woods and brooks, and is worldchampion sleeping in the sun.
