one chapter in and I'm bored already.

very much a folk lore, but I'm not fully into it. don't know where the author is going with this, and not that interested too. reading on for the sake of reading, I guess.

when will it become more interesting? this book is a drag and hindering my reading spree.

I have been reading too many mangas lately (in the name of language learning) but I wish I was good enough to read this book in Japanese...

I have left reading for quite some months because I just hadn't the time. I don't even remember what I was reading and leaving it hanging before that point. Smarter to pick up something new. I was promised quite grandeur things with this book so that's we go then.

heard there would be a murder. a thirds later, none. the translation is good though.

I finished the first two books of the trio, thank God to the audiobook since I was lazy about sci-fi romance. It was up to pair with normal JCP's writing, even when the genre generally puts me off :). I will read the last installment as physical book though.

I kept getting pulled in and out of the story. What is the point of this? But isn’t it necessarily the whole point?

I made it a mission to listen to books that I found so boring impossible to read through. Make the most out of my audible sub.

The music at the start of radio sections keep me going, very nice interim.
