Boring. Nothing unique.

Quit at 20ish percent. Mentality of the book? Immature fantasy. As in Batcave with a sliding door entry blended into the mountainside of a middle-of-the-desert clubhouse. Lyme disease does not progress to a deadly stage in less than a month and fingerprints taken from children in grade school 20 years ago are NOT readily available in today's computer systems for hackers to access.

How bad can it be? This bad: clubhouse is in the Bat Cave; sophisticated amenities include fingerprint entry; entry to the bat cave is a sliding door disguised as a part of the mountainside. In the middle of the desert.
HER thumbprint was "lifted from school records obtained 20 years ago" and HER illness that was no more than 4 weeks long was an advanced stage of Lime disease.

Not good.

can't finish - skipped over most of the 2nd book, now this one I can't even finish. Snooze fest, way too predictable.

I am struggling to finish. Never thought I'd say this about one of Manda's books, especially the Satan's Devil series, it is boring the crap out of me. Enough of the whining, enough of the repeating thoughts and comments we've read multiple times.
I am continuing in case it has details that will help when reading the next in the series. If book #2 is the same, I will probably give up on the series.

struggling to finish. just skipping chunks and reading about the other characters in the book. don't like Luxe, don't like Grinder. they are both lacking in personality and not at all interesting. for every 5 pages of content, 30 are written - in other words, the writing is drawwwwn out and repetitive.

Not liking this story. Doesn't seem to be much focus on the club and the characters are not cleary defined.

I'm continuing to read because I paid for the book. Holy Moly, the book is sloooooow. Painfully boring.

Fantastic, a real MC story.
