Update: while this book is indeed great, the difference with the previous ones is like a wide chasm. It doesn’t help that I am listening to the audiobook, which I loathe to put down in favor of a written version. The narrator is just too good, sometimes single-handedly carrying the story.
Will come back to this in spring, I would hope, when I resume my daily walks. A shame not to.

Dropped this when I started devouring Prog fantasy left and right. Now that I am without further fuel I aim to finish this book fast

Audiobook became problematic: too hot to go on walks that stretch for hours to listen to the book. Will resume in Fall (?)
