Absolutely fantastic book!! Loved it! Sharon Penman tells the story extremely well and there is no Tudor bias! It's history in a novel!! I loved it!

This has got to be the very best book I have read on Richard The Third. The book is totally factual but not a dry read at all. All the information of Richard's life & character personally & professionally & his honest & fair approach to matters are detailed. It is only after his death that the Tudor propaganda & Shakespeare maligned Richard's character.

Excellent book and love the idea of tuning in to historical figures and occasions to experience the past for 'real'. Richard was brought to life and his known good nature and character previous to Tudor badmouthing was excellently expounded!

Loving this book travelling back in time via DNA and a time machine and hearing Richard The Third speak in his day to day life!! Fantastic!

Absolutely brilliant. I have ordered Second Touch already to continue the series. You learn so much about the lives and habits and culture of the world Jesus lived in. Helps you to understand the world he lived in and what was un/acceptable within that era. Very interesting and educational!!

Absolutely brilliant! I learned so much about the way life was when Jesus walked on earth. I have ordered Second Touch, the next in the AD series and cant wait for it to arrive. The authors thoroughly research their eras. I have another series written by them as well. Excellent!!!
