This is my second Ali Hazelwood book. The first was “Bride”. She definitely has a unique writing style. So far I’m invested! Let’s see what the other half looks like

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m kind of debating on whether I should DNF this or forge onward….
It kind of gave “City of bones” vibes 🤔 Except when I read that series by Cassandra Clare many year back, I remember how much I fell in love with it. This is like a bad version of that. I’m just forcing myself to get through this for some reason.

It’s toooooo long 😢 this book could be half of its length I swear, and that to with the same amount of emotional depth

Not much has happened until now, which I was planning on it being a 3 star read. But right about now things are just happening one after another. On top of that I’m emotional. This may just be a 4 star read if this keeps up.

I’m on the edge of my seat, anticipation is killing me, but I’m also literally devouring this series, and am not sure what I’m gonna do with myself once I reach the end of all this
