Did not finish. Seemed pointless. Didn’t care about the characters or the story line whatever it was. Not recommended.

DNF, which is rare for me. Admittedly I gave up early on this book. But it was making no sense to me. Life is too short to read bad books.

I was harsh on the first book in the series comparing it to a Richard Stark book. Someone felt that I was unnecessarily down on the book so I tried this. Have to admit it was a little better but still not really great. For being career criminals, they don’t seem to have a good grasp on details, like how to get away with the money. To me that’s a major problem. No more. Not recommended.

A charming story. Gail Carriger has written her first science fiction book and it’s a good one. On one level it’s about a detective, an adorable lavender alien, lots of sex, and a murder. The story is character driven and is more about developing a relationship, overcoming doubts and making things work. The m/m sex isn’t just thrown in, but serves the purpose of adding to the building relationship. Recommended.

Nasty. Not recommended. I gave up on this. Good premise of someone going after serial killers. Just too gruesome Won’t read about a Jr High Principal who has tortured, raped, and murdered 74young girls between the ages of 8 and 14; someone who has his heart ripped out of his chest. Using drills on private parts of two men. I will never read this author again.

I gave up on the book. Just couldn’t get interested in the squabbling characters and the they acted and reacted. It was a good premise but something happened between the premise and the writing.
