So close to DNFing. Everyone is horny, Winnie’s responses to murder are inconsistent and nothing has really been explained yet. Feels like a set up for a series without much really happening. The writing is bare bones, like it’s a first draft. Might give it a few more chapters to see if anything happens.

Ngl thought I’d enjoy this more than I am so far as doesn’t seem like much is happening (yet) and not so fond of the writing style, but not giving up yet.
