I thought it a bit boring, honestly.

Very dark and dreary. The book reads as though your being told a story instead of reading a story. Just not a good writing style.

It was a bit much, too many characters. If she would have left out the 2 younger daughters the book would have been better, in my opinion

This book could have been a 4 if it had ended several chapters earlier. The last 100 pages ruined it for me.
