"We Need to Rewild the Internet" by Maria Farrell and Robin Berjon
The title, the epigraph by Ursula K. Le Guin as well as the first paragraphs are quite promising. However, I found it difficult to follow the arguments as I lack the necessary knowledge on this subject (internet governance) and the few given explanations were not sufficient. 3.5/5

3rd story, "Letting Naomi Die" by Katie Engelhart
Finally a longer piece, exploring concerns regarding palliative psychiatry and terminal anorexia. Readers follow the story of Naomi and her lifelong struggle with anorexia; it's writting with much empathy, yet examines arguements from many different perspectives.

2nd story: "Do Animals Know That They Will Die?" by Ross Andersen
Beautifully written story with much care for the subject: thanatology, the study of how animals experience death. Short and sweet. 4/5

1st story, “The Worm Charmers” by Michael Adno
A compact story about the practice of worm fiddling/snoring/grunting etc. etc. meaning you drive a stick into the soil and rub against it with a metal file until the vibrations drive the worms to the surface. Interesting, but the narrative of “pink currency” doesn’t sit quite well with me.
