Didn’t realize this was a Christian book (bonus from my perspective). Only 40 pages in and it’s making me uncomfortable lol - yup - definitely need to read this book. Ugh.

Uhh it’s alright - not my normal genre. Not a huge superhero reader.

Good so far

Great book. Character Vin is interesting. Sort of your standard street urchin start, but and interesting take on her character.

Oh how I thought this book would be easy and free of spirit. I longed for something to set my spirit aflame and be entertained!

Crap I’m starting to talk like C.S. Lewis now. Good so far but man he’s still heady even in something I had hoped to be an interesting, but short, piece of fiction.

... think I need to go find a junk book and then come back to C.S Lewis

Just wow. Good. Recommended CS Lewis “Mere Christianity”, so will have to read through that (and CS Lewis other books on the subject).

I’ve struggled with the subject of sin (understanding on a deeper level than - “something bad”). This has helped me understand/gave deeper meaning to the purpose of Jesus sacrifice.

This book has some bite. Some of it is repetitive, largely good though.
