Shock value stuff, the female character thinks she can fix him, an egotistical MMC… meh.

A bit difficult to understand. The story is straightforward. Imagine the first season of The Mandalorian but instead of a baby alien, it’s a preteen girl. A bit more mature than the show though lol

Love this one.
I can’t finish this fast enough, but I want to go slowly and enjoy it.
I’ll be finished within the next two days.

DNF. Nothing grabbed my attention and it seemed like I was pushing forward to find nothing interesting. Sorry all, I tried, and I wanted to like it!

I’m 45% in, and I am bored. I want to love this book, but it’s falling flat for me. It’s out of place as I was expecting something darker. It’s like a romcom with serial unalivers, and I just can’t find the attraction between the two. DNF

Feels like I’m reading Verity again. It’s a slow read, anticipation is building but I’m bored.

I figure I’ll stop now. I saw the movie so there’s no real surprises. Maybe it’s the audiobook too, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought. 🤷🏻‍♀️

This book is cute and steamy! I’m loving Pope and his thoughts, and his denial. 🤣

Now that I’ve been introduced to the characters, this book is going to be done before I know it! I’m over halfway and absolutely enthralled. I giggled out loud and cried today!

Heather Lynn has done a wonderful job of creating characters not only by their description, but you can tell who is speaking based on how she's written their dialogue!
