I enjoyed reading this. Having been tumbling down the path of African literature for a while now, lagoon was a fresh take on nigerian pastors, superstitious beliefs and the struggles of the millennial.

Second read and I finished in about 6hours. The story is still as captivating and brilliant as the first time I read it. I read it with a more matured approach and I can even see the thrill of marrying into a polygamous family. Lola is a brilliant writer for this piece of art.

what we need is to rest more, talk more, walk more, fuck more and enjoy things in life more.
