Seems easier to get through this time round, and yet so many questions I can't remember the answers to 🫤

Attempting a reread, why I'm putting myself through a mentally taxing read whilst starting a mentally taxing degree....I have no clue. But I got drunk and raved about this book, so figured I'd give it another go 🤪

I don't like Ferla, what kind of mother drags her kid round by the hair and calls her a slut? Actually, I know who would do that, but that's irrelevant, my point is WHAT THE FUCK? Also, damn the war declarations, urgh.

Why are all the character names blurring into each other? They're all so different, but keeping track of who did what, and who we don't trust etc is actually going to drive me crazy

DNF - was a massive letdown in comparison to the first book. The characters seem to have reverted to very 2D characters despite the entire premise of the book being their stories 'behind-the-scenes' of book 1, implying we would see more character depth...not less :(
