The suspense is THICK right now. I could cut it into slices.

Reading the latest chapter source material/footnotes in completion before the annotations has helped my attentiveness/investment in both storylines. I am really enjoying the suspense of the mystery!

This book is the definition of a rollercoaster. I feel I’ve lived several lifetimes during this book😂

A rollercoaster of feelings about this book! We’ve been all over the place and covered a large time span already, so curious what’s to come in the second half.

Finished part 1... some foreshadowing, some mystery, some magic, but mostly heartache for the otherness all those who are not a part of the dominant culture experience on a daily basis.

This is not scary, it’s boring, and I’m disappointed.

So many good words!!! Jesus did not suffer just to empathize with us, but to offer victory over our suffering.
