It's nice to read a book that is engaging and enjoyable. I'd almost forgotten how that felt.

I really dig the scene with the Gurlanin in Besany's apartment. Especially when he turned into Ordo.

However, then we have Vau immediately in the follow up:

I forgot that Sev is the POV character for Delta in this book....ner cyare......

Every time I read an Etain section I can't help but go "this would be vastly better if we didnt decide to make her Pregnant Woman compromised by Pregnant and Romantic feelings."

I'm reading again! If Kal Skirata says "You know Mandalorian females" one more time im gonna mcfuckin' lose it. And his treatment of Besany and Etain. Infuriating. He sucks, man.

Never thought I'd be on team Walon Vau, but here we are.

It is sooooo funny how much I dislike Kal now, and how glaringly obvious the lack of female characters is. And what female characters there are get an...interesting treatment.

You'd never know a woman wrote this, man.

time to be Bothered again.

I'm enjoying this one far more than I did Season of Storms. This is definitely the better prequel.
