starting this so i won't dwell on the cliffhanger that this woven kingdom left us on

you know when you’re fucking with the writing of a new author so hard that you start looking into their other books not even a quarter of the way through the book you’re currently reading? that’s me right now

for the record, i’m already predicting this is gonna be a 5 star read

saw the clouds drawing in and heard the first pitter-patters of rain and RAN to pick up this book

i feel like my whole body has been vibrating the entire time i’ve been reading this

i was gonna leave this book as a little treat for later but as it turns out the celestial kingdom duology was simply not ENOUGH and my heart is aching so i really need this

first impressions: the writing is really atmospheric, the first chapter has me intrigued + the gothic vibes are definitely gothic-ing
