Pleased to have added this one to our District Battle of the Books and have students read it. I just re-read it for our trivia competition next week. Such interesting facts and stories behind the rescue.

This is a re-read even though I must not have marked it the first time. Getting ready to read Deborah Ellis's upcoming book with these characters.

A rare DNF for me. I was really getting into the book, about 60% done. I had just met one of my new favourite characters, but then my e-ARC expired! Ugh! Gigantic world building and really interesting turn of phrase. I think the last half was going to be really good.
