Laila calling him Majnu? Okay okay. The situationship between them is so Kaz-Inej coded. Plus their appearances and position in the team. So far I like it. It’s not as boring of a read as Six of Crows but it’s so similar in structure that I have my doubts.

So far I can’t take any character seriously because they are all teenagers. It’s time I stop reading kids books but they are so much more fun 😭

What in the Kaz Brekker universe is this!

I can’t conjure up anything to say about this book. I am reading this when the situations he describes is very much alive and ongoing makes it much more difficult to digest as a human.

The way this book is written makes me think not just about the inhumanity that’s happening in Palestine but of every marginalized community, every social discrimination and the people who lived through it all without able to even ask for help. This is a beautiful book and I am ashamed to say as such in the face of its content.

Yeah that’s it. This can be a book I donate.

I didn’t know I could be this angry at someone’s opinions 🤣 It’s almost as if this man is extremely sexist. What you mean men need to space? Women don’t need space? I am trying my best to see the point of this book.

So far what I got is men are from Mars. Mars is where people have big egos. Can’t talk when they are mad. Can’t talk when they feel ignored. They will pull back sometimes in relationships because that’s their way of being. People from Venus should understand and not push for reasons. I don’t throwing things at a writer but I am so close.

The sleepy me was a bit too rash. I still don’t quite see the point of this book, but it’s okay.

Thought I will read a book to fall asleep. This book is seriously pissing me off that now I am wide awake and mad. All I am hearing is men are from mars and so their communicate system got burned off because of their closeness to the sun. I dearly hope this book progresses into something good. I will throw this book to the sun if it goes like this.

When in doubt read the Children’s stories.

Maybe it was me all along. She is not making sense, but neither do I hate this book.

With each chapter, the stars I gave are slowly losing its meaning. America, what you got here, sis? Idk why the 16yr old me was rooting for you so bad. What you mean you like them both? Yes, you do remind me of online dating but I wanted fiction to be a better version of relationships. Every time you face uncertainty, a small portion of me is send to the asylum for believing in you.

I can’t say I like any of the characters except maybe Basil. But I haven’t seen a lot of him to judge yet.

After years of reading fantasy and whatnot, I am reading this with a constant,”hey siri, what’s the meaning of -“. I feel ashamed but you should start somewhere, right?
