So far, this book is repeatedly "my adult kids are great, but I'm nostalgic for their childhood. My husband is great, but I'm menopausal," as it details a family vacation, day by day and minute by minute, including who eats what type of sandwich and who sleeps where in the cabin. That level of detail is excrutiatingly boring, but I'm hanging in, in hopes it gets better.

This is so engaging - I was up way past bedtime, turning pages.
